About Cameri

Cameri is a comune (municipality) in the province of Novara in the Italian region of Piedmont, located approximately 90 kilometers (56 miles) north-east of Turin and approximately 6 kilometers (4 miles) north-east of Novara.

Cameri borders the following municipalities: Bellinzago Novarese, Caltignaga, Castano Primo, Galliate, Nosate, Novara and Turbigo. It houses a Cameri Air Base military air base (ICAO code: LIMN), now used for the maintenance of the Panavia Tornado and the Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon, as well as for the final assembly of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II.

Among the churches there are the Madonna of San Cassiano, San Rocco, San Giuseppe, the Church of the Santissimo Sacramento and Santa Maria Assunta.
