About Magliano Sabina

Magliano Sabina (Maglianese: Majjano, Sabino: Majjanu) is a town in the province of Rieti in the Italian region of Lazio, located about 50 kilometers (31 miles) north of Rome and about 30 kilometers (19 miles) west of Rieti. As of December 31, 2004, it had a population of 3,829 and an area of 43.7 square kilometers (16.9 square miles).

Magliano Sabina is bordered by the following municipalities: Calvi dell'Umbria, Civita Castellana, Collevecchio, Gallese, Montebuono, Orte, Otricoli.

The Sabina Cathedral is also known as the Co-Cathedral of San Liberatore Vescovo e Martire.
